Day 9: Trusting God’s Plan

Day 9: Trusting God’s Plan

Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Devotional

We all indeed have dreams, desires, and expectations for how our lives should unfold. But what happens when things don’t go as we planned? We can become discouraged, frustrated, or even doubt the goodness of God. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us that God’s plans for us are always good, even if they don’t match our expectations.

Trusting the plans of God requires surrender. It means letting go of our control and believing that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). It means holding tightly onto hope, even in seasons of uncertainty.

If you have difficulty seeing the bigger picture, remember that God is weaving together the details of your life for a purpose. Trust Him, knowing that His plan is for your ultimate good.

Prayer

Father, I surrender my plans to You. Help me to trust in Your timing and purpose, knowing that Your plans are always for my good. Amen.
